Your Pet’s Safety

At all times during your visit to our hospital, we ask that you keep your pet on a leash, in your arms or in a carrier. If you don’t have a leash for your dog or a carrier for your cat, we will provide one for you to use while you’re here.

Appointments

To keep your pet healthy, we encourage you to watch your mail for our reminders and to call promptly to schedule the preventive care we recommend.

Except in cases of emergency, we’ve found scheduled appointments allow us to give you the time and attention you need while keeping your waiting time to a minimum.

If you have an emergency during our office hours, we will see your pet immediately, without an appointment.

On those rare occasions when we do fall behind schedule because of a medical emergency, we appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have already arrived for your appointment, we’ll advise you of the estimated delay and if you’d like, reschedule your appointment. If you haven’t yet arrived, we’ll try to contact you by telephone and reschedule.

If your plans change and you find you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, we greatly appreciate your calling us to let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

Hospitalized Pets

If we admit your pet to our hospital for an overnight stay or longer-term treatment, we will advise you on when you may call to check on your pet’s condition and when you may pick up your pet.

To keep from placing our hospitalized patients under unnecessary stress, we ordinarily do not allow visitors. There are times, however, when we encourage visits. Please ask the doctor to advise you about visiting your hospitalized pet.

Fees & Charges

We set fees for our services and prices for drugs and merchandise at fair and reasonable levels. Your doctor will be happy to discuss our fee schedule and pricing with you and provide an estimate of total costs for any procedure your pet may require.

Fees are payable at the time we provide our services. We prepare your bill for payment at the end of each appointment.

If your pet is admitted for treatment, we may require a deposit at check-in. We present your final bill when you come to pick up your pet.

We accept cash and personal checks. For your convenience we also accept major credit cards. We do not offer payment plans.
