While in California Dr. Okos continued to work at various small animal clinics on the weekends. Before long, her love of traditional veterinary medicine prevailed, and she returned to full-time practice.

In 2010 Dr. Okos moved back to her hometown in Indiana and began working at Brownsburg Animal Clinic a day or two each week. She also works part-time at several other area veterinary clinics.

Dr. Okos has a special interest in ultrasound technology and its use in helping diagnose cases.

After hours, she spends time with her dog Diesel and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including motocross.
