After spending her first year after graduation working with both large and small animals at a mixed animal practice in Rockville, Indiana, she moved to Southern California to work in the medical device industry at a cardiac/critical care company.
While in California Dr. Okos continued to work at various small animal clinics on the weekends. Before long, her love of traditional veterinary medicine prevailed, and she returned to full-time practice.
In 2010 Dr. Okos moved back to her hometown in Indiana and began working at Brownsburg Animal Clinic a day or two each week. She also works part-time at several other area veterinary clinics.
Dr. Okos has a special interest in ultrasound technology and its use in helping diagnose cases.
After hours, she spends time with her dog Diesel and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including motocross.
