Rachel began her career in animal care at age 15, working part-time after school at a dog kennel. Throughout her high school years, she worked at Speck’s Pet Supplies where she discovered a passion for animal nutrition.

After high school, Rachel began working in veterinary medicine. She has been a Veterinary Assistant at Brownsburg Animal Clinic since January 2022.

She is currently in her second year of Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technology associate’s degree program. She continues to pursue her special interest in animal nutrition.

The most rewarding aspect of her job is in observing clinic patients’ medical progress, knowing she played a role in their recovery and made a positive impact on the animal’s quality of life.

While growing up, Rachel had lots of pets including hedgehogs, guinea pigs, frogs, lizards and red claw crabs. In December 2022, she adopted her first dog—a dachshund named Odie.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys painting, spending time outdoors and going to antique malls.

She’s worked in veterinary medicine since 2018.

Becca came to work at Brownsburg Animal Clinic in January 2023 and is excited to be part of a general practice where she can advocate for our patients and impact their lives as well as the lives of our clients.
