Megan has known she belongs in the field of veterinary medicine since she was a first grader. To fulfill her desire to care for animals, she became a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Megan graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology. In the bachelors program, Megan focused on behavior modification and helped teach puppy classes at Purdue.

Megan joined Brownsburg Animal Clinic in July 2009 after working in a veterinary emergency hospital for a year and a half.

She has a showshoe cat, Mohave, and a leopard gecko, Dimitri. Megan has always loved working with animals and is excited to continue in her chosen profession for years to come. She loves getting to know our clients and patients and treats each pet as she would her own.

Morgan

Morgan graduated from Vet Tech Institute in 2014 with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She did her externship with Brownsburg Animal Clinic  in Summer 2014 and  decided to join the staff shortly afterwards.

Morgan brings to the clinic a love for animals and a bright, cheery personality.

When Morgan is not working she likes to stay active with yoga, aerial sports or spending time outside with her husband, Labrador retriever mix and three cats.

Barb

Barb graduated from Harrison College in 2009 with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined the Brownsburg Animal Clinic team in 2014.

One of her favorite things about working in animal medicine is meeting new clients and getting to know their companions’ personalities.

She enjoys spending time with her family, camp fires and crafting or building anything that she is unable to hunt down in the stores. Barb is married with one daughter and has a crazy calico named Roxy and a dog named Gracie Lou.

Dylan

Dylan graduated with honors from Harrison College School of Veterinary Technology in May 2017 and began working at the clinic in June. While a student, Dylan did an externship at a low-stress handling veterinary clinic in Lebanon.

Dylan has a passion for patient care and comfort, practicing low-stress handling so patients may feel as calm and comfortable as possible during their visits to the clinic. He strives to make pet visits positive and fun so that pets enjoy coming back to see us.

Dylan lives with his father and step-mother. They share their home with 3 dogs and 4 cats.

Jess

Registered Veterinary Technician

Jess joined the Brownsburg Animal Clinic team in late 2018. She graduated from Vet Tech Institute in 2012 with an associate’s degree in animal technology. She aspires to specialize in surgical nursing and animal dentistry.

Jess’ favorite activities include traveling with her family and spending time outdoors with friends. She has a soft spot for bulldogs and Dobermans but cannot resist loving any creature. Jess lives in Speedway with her husband, son, and 3 dogs—LeeRoy, Sebastian and Ladybug.

Alyssa

Alyssa attended Harrison College and graduated in 2013 with an Associates in Applied Science specializing in veterinary technology. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2012.

Alyssa comes from a very big family of all girls and is the only one who does not work with humans. She has 2 cats—Gator, who is 9 years old and Goose, who is 2 years old.

Alyssa enjoys singing and training her cats in her free time.

Autumn

Office Manager

Autumn is a 2009 Purdue graduate, with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Before joining the Brownsburg Animal Clinic staff at the end of 2013 as a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist, Autumn worked at an animal clinic in Indianapolis and multiple zoos, including the Henry Doorly Zoo and the Columbian Park Zoo.

She became the clinic’s office manager in summer 2019.

Besides having two cats and a rambunctious dog, Autumn and her husband also have a toddler running around the house. She is a huge Disney fan and an avid reader.

Emily

Emily Dombrosky joined Brownsburg Animal Clinic in 2016.

She completed a bachelor’s degree in elementary art education at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2012. A lifelong lover of animals, she has worked in the veterinary field since 2013.

Emily and her husband Nick share their household with two dogs—an Australian shepherd, Ollie, and a pit-bull mix, Niki—a one-eyed cat named Jackson, a teacup Persian named Maxine and a Holland lop bunny named Jefferson. Their daughter Evelyn was born October 9, 2019.

Shelby

Shelby lives with two horses, a dog, and a couple kittens on a small farm outside Thorntown where she trains horses and teaches riding lessons.

She is working on a bachelor’s degree in nursing and plans to specialize in pediatrics, with hopes of working at Riley Children’s Hospital.

In addition to her animal-related interests, Shelby enjoys Disney, kayaking and hiking with her pup.

Shelby has worked at Brownsburg Animal Clinic since 2016.

Tammy

Receptionist

Tammy is from Phoenix, Arizona. She joined the clinic staff in September 2017.

She earned a Veterinary Assistant degree from Kaplan College in Phoenix in 2002 and has worked in the veterinary field since then.

She and her boyfriend Mike share their home with 2 Himalayan cats, Stewbert and Ernie, a Persian cat named Mildred, 2 beagles named Lollie and Brandy, a puggle named Bellie, a Belgian Malinois named Storm and Elmo, a poodle who helps greet clients and patients at the clinic.

In her spare time, Tammy enjoys spending time outdoors and working on craft projects.

Katherine

Receptionist

Katherine joined the Brownsburg Animal Clinic team in late 2017.  She had worked various reception and front desk jobs before finally finding her way into the veterinary field.

She has always had a love for animals and is excited to be able to share her passion with the patients and clients of the clinic.

Over the past few years, she has enjoyed helping her family foster kittens for various animal rescues and currently shares her home with two rambunctious, lovable cats of her own.

Jada

Jada graduated from Purdue University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Behavior and Well-Being. She plans to attend graduate school to do further research of the behavioral tendencies in sick or stressed animals.

While in high school, Jada completed two years of training in a veterinary assistant program for small and large companion animals. She went on to participate at the national level in a competition for young veterinary professionals, earning a spot in the National Technical Honors Society.

In her spare time, Jada enjoys hanging out with family and friends, writing, designing or simply spending time with her two dogs, Angel and Kingsley.

Jennifer

Receptionist

Jennifer started working at Brownsburg Animal Clinic in June 2020.
She graduated from Ball State University in 2001 with a bachelor o science degree in anthropology. Since 2002, she has worked at several Indianapolis-area veterinary clinics, gaining experience in reception, assisting and office management.

Jennifer and her husband live with a terrier mix named Quake, adopted from Indianapolis Animal Care Services, and a little tortie cat adopted from Misty Eyes named Cora. In her free time Jennifer enjoys reading, watching movies, gardening, refurbishing furniture and spending time with her family.

Haley

Haley is an honor-roll student at Cardinal Ritter High School. Her goal after graduation is to go to Purdue University or Ohio State to study veterinary medicine.

Haley began volunteering at Brownsburg Animal Clinic in 2015 before being hired in 2016 to work after school and on some Saturdays. She helps keep the clinic clean, assists in working with the animals and helps runs tests to make sure patients are healthy.

Haley and her family of 7 have one dog named Siri, four cats, two hamsters and a rabbit. When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys volunteering at Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding, at Noble and at Indy Humane.

Maria

Clinic Assistant Maria is a senior at Brownsburg High School. She would like to go study at Purdue.
