Megan Harris

Registered Veterinary Technician

Megan has known she belongs in the field of veterinary medicine since she was a first grader. To fulfill her desire to care for animals, she became a registered veterinary technician.

Megan graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology. In the bachelors program, Megan focused on behavior modification and helped teach puppy classes at Purdue.

Megan joined Brownsburg Animal Clinic in July 2009 after working in a veterinary emergency hospital for a year and a half.

She has a showshoe cat, Mohave, and a leopard gecko, Dimitri. Megan has always loved working with animals and is excited to continue in her chosen profession for years to come. She loves getting to know our clients and patients and treats each pet as she would her own.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Morgan graduated from Vet Tech Institute in 2014 with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She did her externship with Brownsburg Animal Clinic  in Summer 2014 and  decided to join the staff shortly afterwards. Morgan brings to the clinic a love for animals and a bright, cheery personality. A newly-wed as of late 2016, she has one dog, Harley, and one cat, Annie.

Barb graduated from Harrison College in 2009 with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined the Brownsburg Animal Clinic team in 2014. One of her favorite things about working in animal medicine is meeting new clients and getting to know their companions’ personalities. She enjoys spending time with her family, camp fires and crafting or building anything that she is unable to hunt down in the stores. Barb is married with one daughter and has a crazy calico named Roxy. 

Samantha Even-Wurfel

Samantha Even-Wurfel, who joined the clinic in 2016, graduated from Vet Tech Institute in 2010 with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She also has a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University.

Sam spends a lot of her free time volunteering with a local animal rescue.

She enjoys playing her guitar and reading. She lives with 2 dogs, 3 cats and usually a few foster kittens. 

Dylan McDonald

Registered Veterinary Technician

Dylan McDonaldDylan graduated with honors from Harrison College School of Veterinary Technology in May 2017 and began working at the clinic in June. He recently passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination and will soon take the Indiana state board exams to complete his registration as a veterinary technician. While a student, Dylan did an externship at a low-stress handling veterinary clinic in Lebanon.

Dylan has a passion for patient care and comfort, practicing low-stress handling so patients may feel as calm and comfortable as possible during their visits to the clinic. He strives to make pet visits positive and fun so that pets enjoy coming back to see us.

Dylan lives with his father and step-mother. They share their home with 3 dogs and 4 cats.

Emily Davis

Emily Davis joined Brownsburg Animal Clinic in 2016. 

She completed a bachelor’s degree in elementary art education at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2012. A lifelong lover of animals, she is happy to be able to help care for them as a career.

Emily has a dog, Oliver, and a one-eyed cat named Jackson.

Shelby Rohn

Receptionist

 Shelby Rohn lives with two horses, a dog, a kitten and a hedgehog on a small farm outside Thorntown where she trains horses and teaches riding lessons.
She is working on an associate’s degree in business administration and plans to continue her study of horses in hopes of owning and managing her own equine training facility.
In addition to her animal-related interests, Shelby enjoys Disney, kayaking and hiking.
Shelby has worked at Brownsburg Animal Clinic since 2016.

Tammy

Receptionist

Tammy is from Phoenix, Arizona. She joined the clinic staff in September 2017. She earned a Veterinary Assistant degree from Kaplan College in Phoenix in 2002 and has worked in the veterinary field since then. She and her boyfriend Mike share their home with 2 Himalayan cats, Stewbert and Ernie, a Persian cat named Mildred, 2 beagles named Lollie and Brandy, a puggle named Bellie, a Belgian Malinois named Storm and Elmo, a poodle who helps greet clients and patients at the clinic. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys spending time outdoors and working on craft projects.

Autumn Keesling

Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist

Autumn is a 2009 Purdue graduate, with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Before joining the Brownsburg Animal Clinic staff at the end of 2013, Autumn worked at an animal clinic in Indianapolis and multiple zoos, including the Henry Doorly Zoo and the Columbian Park Zoo. Besides having two cats and a rambunctious dog, Autumn and her husband also have a toddler running around the house. She is a huge Disney fan and an avid reader.

Alicia Meyer

Veterinary Assistant

Alicia joined the staff at Brownsburg Animal Clinic in March 2014. She has many years of experience with animals, especially farm animals. Her passion is rabbits. Alicia loves horseback riding, and her long term goal is to continue to work with animals.

Haley Davis

Haley is an honor-roll student at Cardinal Ritter High School. Her goal after graduation is to go to Purdue University or Ohio State to study veterinary medicine.

Haley began volunteering at Brownsburg Animal Clinic in 2015 before being hired in 2016 to work after school and on some Saturdays. She helps keep the clinic clean, assists in working with the animals and helps runs tests to make sure patients are healthy.

Haley and her family of 7 have one dog named Siri, four cats, two hamsters and a rabbit. When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys volunteering at Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding, at Noble and at Indy Humane.
